Bus Tour - Lake Pahinapua (Poo Pub)
This is a picture of the most photographed man in NZ, Lez Lisle. He has been hosting and entertain bus loads of Kiwi Experience travelers for decades. He is now 85 years old and still loves to entertain. He cooks a mean steak and has a quick witted humor and jump onto our bus right when we got there and informed us that he has cameras everywhere so he'll catch you if your doing anything naughty like he did a couple weeks ago where he found some people doing the naughty outside.
After the Lake walk and working on costumes we had a fantastic steak, venison stew dinner with salad, potatoes and pasta. All you can eat. A munch of people also had their own pitch of w/e poison of their choice to aid in dinner. It was happy hour :D With food babies and the first start of the night everyone left to put their costumes on.
This is the Poo Pub. Les collects Polaroids of all the buses that come through Lake Mahinapua. So you can see he's had a lot of parties here.
He also has a collection of hats that is displayed on the ceiling.
Our Costume night started. The theme was to make a costume out of rubbish bags. Here we have our first place winner as a Penguin.
