So I stumbled my way back to the hostel, grabbed some granola bars and munched on those, took off my make-up and managed to get myself into some sleeping clothes. Then I woke up at 9am and when I got up I realized that I might of been still a little drunk. I called the Nevis Bungy place and thankfully had my jump pushed to 2pm. So chug chug on some well needed H2O and back to bed til 12. I got ready, did some grocery shopping and then it was off to the bungy office. You get all signed up and you get shuttled to the jump site. It was a 45min ride. Still hung over I sat wearing my sunglasses and drinking Powerade (yes electrolytes).
Then it was up the steep mountain, get logged in, lock up belongings and then you take a little cable cart to the suspended platform suspended 134 meters above a river. Really pretty scenery...I was trying to distract myself.
After the bungy I did not feel hung over anymore. But I learned from the Canon swing not to look down cause u'll be looking down as you fall. I still needed two countdowns. But it was amazing. After a good adrenaline rush all you want to do is sleep and then get some fuel.
This is Fergburger. This one store brings in just over $8 million dollars annually. as you can see in the picture below they make huge burgers. This one burger has been the most amount of beef that I have eaten in the last 5 years. (wait I started eating steak when I was washing dishes...but that was free...)
After such a ginormous burger it was perfect timing to go for a stroll around the harbor and check out all the stores and cafes in Queenstown.
