Bus Tour - Queenstown (Milford Sound day excursion)

Our start time was 7:45am.

Then we drove for a while and had a coffee/ toilet break in this town.....but I don't remember what it was called.

The bus driver was awesome, hilarious, informative, good sense of dirty humor and liked to whisper random things into the microphone just to see who would hear it.

doing some yoga.

I think this is one of my favorite best pictures I have taken on this trip.

Then we drove for another 2 hours.

we stopped just after this waterfall to get some glacier water from the river.

very friendly bird.

We had to go through this tunnel and once the bus was in the tunnel the lights went off and mission impossible music blasted and the driver was breaking and swerving and getting a good laugh out of us.

Then he tricked us and said that Jurassic Park was filmed here....then announced that really it was in Hawaii but this just reminded him of it.

The Chasm!

Wicked cool travel van you can rent.

So after we did this walking trail it was only a 20 minute drive to the harbor, where we boarded our boat and had a buffet lunch (it was ...alright)

Presenting Milford Sound, rated one of the most beautiful places in NZ. I wish it was sunny instead of raining, but w/e still got some nice pictures. Though after the ferry between islands and this boat I think I will avoid boat trips in the future. I must be getting old cause only recently have I discovered I get sea sick...booo.

Seals!

Pretty waterfall.

Too close!

This is an example of how thick the glass is in the underwater observatory.

The staircase down to the underwater observatory.

A random picture I took. It's been a while since I've done a picture like this.

Back in Queenstown and I went for a night walk for my last night here.
