Bus Tour - Queenstown (Canon Swing)
Heading to Queenstown, but before we stop in the party capital we first stopped at the original Bungy site.
This was a 40 meter drop.
and then a boat saves you. While we were there this 60 something year old man did the bungy while his wife, who was standing beside me, was nervously taking photos of her husband. so cute.
So this was the first bridge where the two NZ guys first introduced bungy. and they say bungY with a "y" at the end cause "y" would anyone do this.
I knew I wanted to do a bungy but I was petrified as we were driving closer to this bridge and bungy site. then we watched a video about the two guys who introduced it to the world and after the video I was pumped. In the video it showed a bunch of people at the ledge being scared out of their mind. So I didn't feel so bad cause I know I was going to be one of those people on the ledge scared and thinking "this is stupid."
So once we finally got into Queenstown, I didn't get the chance to check into my room cause it was time to do my Canon swing. I paid for it in advance so I had to go. And once you get to the office that sets you up they are already playing with your head. Telling cause that they didn't have any deaths that day and the guy who was driving us to the site had just finish getting out of rehab from his previous jump.
They loved everything David Hasselhoff up there. Inside this toilet was Photoshoped pictures of David all over the walls. Very entertaining.
Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to P with Mr. T.
At this point I was in shock. "Why am I doing this" let I was the first one to reach the site and was the first one to jump.
A couple celebs who jumped here too.
Sheep everywhere!
