Art Gallery and Harbor

Civic Center



Art Gallery - had a nice exhibit going on called "roundabout" which showcased works in different mediums from all over the world. It was two floors of universal thought exploring ideas of faith, capitalism, history, and what affects us in our own countries. Free entry and 1.5 hours later I finished the gallery and took pictures outside in the civil center.

At the top of this hill is the Wellington Lookout, which is Mount Victoria. I live at the bottom of Mount Victoria.



Awesome brewery that makes Issac's Apple Cider, which is super delicious.





No that green stuff is not paint, it's algae.







The wind is so strong here it blew the mini waterfall up.

An alternative route home.

The route I decided to take home. Which starts at the top of Majoribank St.



This is the top of Majoribanks St, which turns into Courtney Place which is the main street of Wellington. the top of the hill leads to the Green Belt.

Excursion to the Hataitai Park Trails

This is Waitoa Road. It is at the bottom of the hill that the Wellington Lookout is.



There is this awesome take-away restaurant that has a lot of gluten free options. Everyone knows it as a pizza place. A devilishly good pizza place with pizzas with names like Purgatory, The Damned, and The Satan. You can also pick how hell hot you want it. Yum, the only pizza place I have been to that has black pleather waiting seats and red walls.
















Sometime there are quarantined plants, shrubs, and trees randomly. They are highly poisonous. I laugh and call them zombie trees.

Bike path. I'm too poor to have a bike so I walk the trails and hope a biker or a hobbit carriage does run me over.

Buses in Wellington

Like in T.O. these buses are electric and run on cabals. I have acquired the cool "snapper" card, which is a re-loadable card that you use to swipe on and off the bus, damn handy. Too bad I ran out of funds for the bus. Hopefully my shoes last me my whole trip.

This apartment has a complex.

This is definitely one of the strangest and yet equally coolest apartment complex I've seen. The complex is called Park Mews and houses 8 apartments. I want to know what the apartments look like inside....hmmmmm.

Street Performers

Walking around Cuba st. stoday myself and a crowd of people were entertained by a street performer named "Slim." As his name instended he was a tall skinny guy with pants 20x wider then his actual legs, a black blazer, and a pink horn made of dyed pink hair at the top of his shaved head. He was a street magician but he was very open with the crowd and played with awkwardness. He called out, observing and stating awkward moments and swore like a sailor. He created th ebiggest crowd I have seen for street performers. He did tricks and one of them was Houdini-ing out of chains and a straitjacket. But before he made his struggled escape he had a hat on his foot, which was lit on fire and he kicked it up, making the hats do a couple flips, and after his third attempt, and managed to land it safely on his head. His final stunt was swollowing a 1 1/2 foot long samurai sword. Crazy guy but definitly won my coffee money for his performance.

Have you seen the Double Rainbow?!

So I came across a double rainbow. The camera doesn't pick it up well, cause I only just had my pocket camera to take a picture with. It was gorgeous to see and then it unfortunatley reminded of me of this video.
