Weta Caves

Cave Troll!

Samurai Swords from "The Last Samurai"

I think he has to sneeze

"my precious"

If they weren't so expensive these adorable little plush toys would of been mine. SO cute!

There wasn't any tour around the production studio, due to confidentiality rules. The caves had a mini theater that showcased the behind scenes of all the different departments at Weta Productions. It was cool, but I wish Weta just had a big museum of all the original pieces that they made from all their projects. Oh well.

Surf Board in my Room

The only thing Canadian staying in my room after I leave.

Roller Derby Night

Brutal Pageant

vs.

Smash Malice

Brutal Pageant kicked ass and won 136-56

Victory lap

After the derby we went to the basement, which is the bar at Base Hostel. Here after several drinks, Sebastian and I discovered that we had the same size feet...so obviously we had to switch shoes.

Woohoo dancing.

A good night with the guys :)

Botanic Gardens take 1

*This blog is censored*

The Body Shop Warehouse

So for the past week I have been working at The Body Shop warehouse. First I helped with organizing the shipment. I met these wicked cool guys. Sebastian on the left then Hemi, and Alex. Then for the rest of the week I helped to put together Christmas gifts.

See that big hill in the distance...that's Mount Victoria, I live at the bottom and on the other side of this hill.

This is how I get to work most days. I lay in the back and sleep until we get to work. So much fun.

Wellington Library

Now you are probably thinking "who makes a blog about a library" well to answered that as you can see I DO!

The Wellington Library is really awesome. And as a poor person we like free stuff and the Library lets me take out books and graphic novels at my leisure. I also like to go there and look through whatever book I come across. It's also a place I like to read, write and draw. It's sort of my sanctuary when it's crappy out or if I need to just disappear for a while.
